Practical Details for Transcendence Workshops at Sahaja
CostsIn taking the teaching out of the market-place where everything has a price I prefer to say that all the teachings are beyond price but there needs to be ways of honouring the work and the costs associated with Sahaja as well as to support future teachings and the development of the work.
You may wish to look at what used to be charged; your own resources of money or time or skills you could offer in return and then make a suggestion which we can use as the basis for an agreement.
FoodAll food is vegetarian or vegan; with vegan and gluten-free options. There are always fruit, rice cakes and soy milk available.
Travel The postal address is Sahaja, Shaftesbury Road, Compton Chamberlayne, Wilts. SP3 5DJ. We are on the A30 about five miles West of Wilton; seven miles from Salisbury. Sahaja is the very first house on the left hand side after passing the sign for Compton Chamberlayne on the main road if coming from Wilton (you do not need to go in to the village). You can reach Wilton from the A303 without going in to Salisbury. There is parking outside. If lost the house phone is 01722 714530.The nearest station is Salisbury with two trains per hour from London Waterloo.
What to Bring Bring loose comfortable clothes you can move easily in. Something warm for sitting. Bring a towel if you are here for the weekend or if you are going to use the hot tub or sauna. If you are staying here then if at all possible, some bedding - particularly if you are coming by car. For residential workshops there may be a puja so bring some magnificent clothes you feel like a Goddess or a God in; or a lunghi/sarong. A dressing gown is also a good idea for the hot tub. You may also wish to bring an item for the altar. If you are coming to a couples workshop then you could bring music and a suitable player for your room.
