Erection can be synonymous with expectation, from both male and female. It is commonly a mistaken idea that an erection must be maintained to be aroused. It is also not commonly known that a flaccid penis, the Vajra or Lingam, is actually more sensitive.
When a man becomes aroused sexually, the brain sends the signals and a chemical is excreted in the blood vessels’ inner linings that helps relax to allow more blood to flood into the penis, resulting in an erect penis.
When either man or woman become sexually aroused, and the genitals are engorged with blood, the brain excretes chemicals, endorphins and dopamine etc. They helps us feel wonderful and orgasmic.
When a man is experiencing prolonged and heightened erotic arousal, this will result in increased Dopamine levels. In a man it is experienced as the ‘happy, feel-good’, euphoric neurotransmitters. It can also help ease Parkinson’s disease symptoms and much more!
When the penis is erect, it is in fact less sensitive and can take more direct stimulation. It is a bit of a paradox when the penis is flaccid, it is more sensitive, as you stimulate the penis it then becomes aroused and less sensitive.
An aroused man can have an erection, as this is a natural part of the experience and pleasures of arousal, so relax and enjoy a great erection, but also know that a man can have great pleasure even when the penis is flaccid.
Barry Long a Tantric master from Australia wrote that the Vajra is only meant to be erect when inside the Yoni, the vulva, and that is should be sucked into the Yoni by the PC, pelvic floor, muscles of the woman. He explained that if the Vajra is erect anywhere outside the Yoni, then the person is not living in the moment, but in the future anticipating the sexual act.
Even when the penis, the Vajra, is flaccid a man can have great pleasure and orgasms which can surprise both men and women. Enjoy exploring. Let go of expectations and goals.
